Is salicylic acid or retinol better?

Neither is better overall. They solve different problems. Salicylic acid is best for clogged pores, blackheads and active breakouts because it exfoliates inside the pore. Retinoids support skin renewal over time, so they are the stronger choice for fine lines, uneven tone and rough texture.

If breakouts are your main concern, start with SUPER CLEAR. If visible aging is your priority, Retinu uses HPR, a next-generation retinoid, with squalane, ceramides, peptides and vitamin C. Some people use both, but not in the same step at first. Try salicylic acid in the morning and a retinoid at night, or alternate nights. Introduce one product at a time, and wear sunscreen daily with any retinoid. Your skin type and main concern should guide the choice.
