What is the SONYA CIRCLE program?

SONYA CIRCLE is our loyalty program. For every dollar you spend at sonyadakar.com on merchandise, net of promotions and discounts (excluding the purchase of egift certificates, gift cards, taxes, and shipping fees), you receive one point.

Who is eligible to join SONYA CIRCLE?

Membership is limited to individuals only, and is limited to one account per individual. A valid email address is required to register for the program. You must be 18 years or older and a legal resident of the United States. By signing up for the SONYA CIRCLE program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The program is void where prohibited by law.

What does it cost to join SONYA CIRCLE?

Enrollment is free. No purchase is necessary to become a member of SONYA CIRCLE.

How do I enroll in the SONYA CIRCLE program?

You can join the SONYA CIRCLE program online, by going to sonyadakar.com/us/accountcreate and click on the ‘Create an Account’ button. You also have the opportunity to enroll after completing an online purchase. 

How do I earn SONYA CIRCLE points?

You earn one point for every dollar you spend on merchandise net of promotions and discounts (excluding the purchase of egift certificates, gift cards, taxes, and shipping fees) purchased online at sonyadakar.com. Points accrue automatically when you make a purchase; you must be logged into your SONYA CIRCLE account for points to automatically accrue for your sonyadakar.com purchases. 

How do I access my SONYA CIRCLE account?

Your SONYA CIRCLE account can be accessed on sonyadakar.com simply by logging in with your registered email address under the ‘My Account’ button at the top of the webpage. 

I just placed an order / signed up / engaged on social media but I don’t see points added to my account.

Not to worry! Sometimes it takes our system a few minutes to process and apply points to your account. If you don’t see the points in your account after 24 hours, please send a message to Customer Service and include your order number and we’ll take care of it for you!

How do I redeem my SONYA CIRCLE rewards?

To redeem a reward, log on to your SONYA DAKAR account and click the SONYA CIRCLE link. Click the “Ways to redeem”” button and select an available reward. You must be logged into your account to redeem your reward. You can only use one reward per transaction. Shipping fee is not included with product award redemption. Awards cannot be applied to a previous purchase. SONYA CASH rewards cannot be applied towards the purchase of discounted items.

Do my SONYA CIRCLE points expire?

Your points are valid for 1 year.

How do I keep my SONYA CIRCLE points from expiring?

Simple make 1 purchase within 30 days after your expiration date and your points will remain in your account for another year.

I didn’t mean to redeem my points, can I get them back? 

As long as the redeem code has not been used you can contact Customer Service and include the email address associated with your account  and we’ll take care of it for you! Once the code has been used, the points and award are are non-refundable.

Can I earn points for purchases made prior to enrollment?

Points cannot be retroactively accrued for purchases made prior to enrollment in SONYA Rewards.

What is SONYA CASH?

SONYA CASH rewards are discounts you can redeem and apply to the purchase of merchandise (excluding the purchase of egift certificates, gift cards, taxes, and shipping fees) on sonyadakar.com. The SONYA CASH rewards are not cash; have no cash value without a purchase; and may not be altered, sold, bartered, transferred, or redeemed for cash. The SONYA CASH reward is subject to change, alteration, or termination by SONYA DAKARat any time.

What happens if my order is returned or canceled?

Any points associated with that order will be deducted from your SONYA CIRCLE account balance.

Can I combine my rewards?

Rewards cannot be combined. Awards are not valid with any other promotions unless specified.

How do I leave or reactivate my SONYA CIRCLE account if I’ve canceled my membership?

We’re sorry to see you go! If you would like to leave the SONYA CIRCLE program, send a message to Customer Service and we will deactivate your account. Please note that deactivating your account will cause you to lose any accrued points. You may re-enroll in the program at any time, however, your point balance will reset to zero

What if I have additional questions or concerns?

If you have any additional questions or concerns, send a message to Customer Service select SONYA CIRCLE from the options, and reference the email address registered to your SONYA Rewards account.

SONYA CIRClE Referral Program (Nov. 2022)

Sonya Dakar Inc. (“Sonya Dakar”, “we”, “our”, “us”) may, from time to time, offer our customers the opportunity to receive rewards toward future purchases on Sonya Dakar.com by referring other individuals (the “Program”). The Program is enabled through technology provided by Smile Inc. (“Platform Provider”). Your participation in the Program (any such participant, “you”) is subject to and constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (the “T&Cs”). In addition, these T&Cs incorporate by reference, and the Program and your participation therein, are subject to to our other relevant terms and policies, including, without limitation Sonya Dakar’s Terms of Use (which include, among other things, terms requiring MANDATORY ARBITRATION OF DISPUTES, disclaimers of all warranties, and limitations of our liability) and Privacy Policy and other terms or policies we may provide to you from time to time.

• Eligibility. Eligibility to be a Referrer (defined below) is limited to individuals located within the United States only. Subject to such exceptions as may be determined by us, participants (Referrers and Referred Customers, as defined herein) must be at least 18 years old. In addition, all persons referring new customers (each, a “Referrer”) must be legally permitted to provide the personal information (e.g., name and email address) of each Referred Customer (as that term is defined below). The Program cannot be used by corporate entities, businesses or teams as determined in Sonya Dakar’s sole discretion.
• Qualified Referral. A “Qualified Referral” is defined as a qualifying purchase made on Sonya Dakar.com by a person who meets the following criteria: (1) they are referred by a Referrer, (2) they are a first-time purchaser on Sonya Dakar.com; and (3) they arrive to our website by clicking the Program referral link sent by Sonya Dakar at the Referrer’s request, to the email provided by Referrer (such person, a “Referred Customer“). Referrers are limited to one Qualified Referral for each Referred Customer; in other words, additional/repeat purchases made by a Referred Customer are not counted as additional Qualified Referrals.
• Referred Customer. The Referred Customer and the Referrer cannot be the same person (for example, by using a different email address) nor persons living in the same household. Referred Customers will receive an email with a promotional code that can be used at checkout (the “Discount Reward”), in accordance with these T&Cs, on orders of a certain overall value. If the Referred Customer does not already have an account on Sonya Dakar.com, the Referred Customer must create one. We may offer different reward options and denominations from time to time, and the specific terms for each promotion will be set forth in the relevant promotional copy. To use the Discount Reward, the Referred Customer must be logged into an account on Sonya Dakar.com, and then use the Discount Reward on a qualifying purchase within thirty (30) days of receipt of the promotional code for the Discount Reward.
• Referral Rewards. Generally, Referrers are eligible to earn referral rewards as a Referrer (“Referral Rewards”) when a Referred Customer completes a Qualified Referral, subject to the following conditions: (1) the Referral Reward must be used on a single order within thirty (30) days of the date of email to the Referrer containing the promotional code for the Referral Reward; (2) the Referrer must be logged in to a Sonya Dakar.com account; and (3) the Referrer must spend a minimum total amount in a single order (before all fees including taxes, discounts, shipping, returns, chargebacks, fraudulent payments, and/or other third party fees) to be able to use the Referral Reward. The minimum total order requirement may vary from time to time, and will be set forth in the promotional copy. We reserve the right to withdraw the applicable Referral Rewards if an order that is part of a Qualified Referral is returned to Sonya Dakar or canceled within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase by the Referred Customer. Referral Rewards are awarded after we have verified that a Referred Customer has completed a qualifying activity. There will be a reasonable delay between completion of a qualifying activity and when a promotional code for the the Referral Rewards is emailed to the Referrer.
• Reward Limitations. Discount Rewards and Referral Rewards (together, “Rewards”) (i) have no cash value, (ii) may not be combined with other offers, discounts, or promotions; (iii) may not be sold, transferred bartered, assigned or pledged to any third party; and/or (iii) may not be applied toward previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards. You have no property rights or other legal interests in any Rewards. You are responsible for any personal tax liability that may be related to Rewards. Rewards expire 30 days after issuance unless stated otherwise. The Rewards promotional code(s) will be sent at Sonya Dakar’s discretion, including up to 72 hours after a purchase by the Referred Customer has been completed for Referral Rewards.
• No Spam. You must comply with all up-to-date “SPAM” laws. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is strongly discouraged. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from the Program. You agree that you will only send your Refer-a-Friend referral link to individuals that meet the eligibility requirements for the Program. You will indemnify and hold Sonya Dakar, its directors, officers, employees, shareholders, agents and successors harmless, from and against any claims that may arise from any unlawful forwarding or sharing of the referral link.
• Right to Close Accounts. Sonya Dakar reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referrer and/or Referred Customer and to request proper payment if the Referrer and/or Referred Customer attempts to use the Program in a questionable manner or breaches any of these T&Cs or is in violation of any law, statute or governmental regulation. We may, in our sole discretion, temporarily or permanently change, limit, suspend or terminate your use of any Rewards without prior notice. We may do so if you violate the letter and/or spirit of these T&Cs or for any other lawful reason. You agree that we are not liable to you or any third party for any such action.
• Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms. We may change or impose new restrictions that impact the availability of, or your ability to use, the Rewards, cancel the Program or change these T&Cs at any time in our sole discretion, with or without notice. In addition, we may terminate use and availability of Rewards. Any unclaimed Rewards will be forfeited at that time.
• Additional Terms, Conditions, Exclusions, and Restrictions. All Rewards are provided “AS IS.” Rewards consist only of the items listed and are non-transferable, with no cash redemption or substitution except at Sonya Dakar’s sole discretion. We are not responsible for your inability or failure to accept, use and/or receive the benefit of any Reward for any reason, including any third-party’s terms and conditions and/or the terms of business or operations pertinent to the redemption of a particular Reward. Rewards may be subject to additional expiration dates and terms and restrictions on use, as reflected thereon and/or in the relevant promotional copy. Federal, state or local taxes on Referral Rewards, if any, and any other costs, fees or expenses not expressly included as part of Referral Rewards are your sole responsibility. You are responsible for paying applicable taxes, if any, on the value of the Reward(s) we issue to you. Additional terms, conditions, exclusions, and restrictions may apply to Rewards or your use of Rewards. We reserve the right to make certain Rewards selectively available to certain customers at any time based on activity, geographical location, program participation or other factors determined in our sole discretion. Additionally, Sonya Dakar reserves the right to exclude certain products and brands from the Program.
